Paradise Between the Mountains & the Sea

We hopped the SpanAir flight from

Madrid to Malaga and drove over

to our home for the week in Estepona

on the Costa del Sol.

Our condo was right

 on the Mediterranean.

We had beautiful views of

the mountains as well.

Each morning we would wake

up to the calls of the exotic

birds just outside our windows.

We would go downstairs to

buy croissants and baguettes

fresh from the oven and

have breakfast on the terrace.

We didn't spend much time during

the day at the resort since we

were off visiting towns all over

southern Spain. 

When we could we would

have cocktails on the beach

at sunset.

Then we'd have a late dinner,

a dip in the pool and sometimes

a far too competitive game of

ping pong.

And one day there was a

rainbow outside our window.
