Fabric Requirements:

Fabric A: White

4 - 2 1/2" squares

8 - 3 1/4" squares - Mark

a diagonal line on back.

Fabric B: Blue

4 - 2 1/2" squares

1 - 4 1/2" square

Fabric C: Red

4 - 3 1/4" squares

Fabric D:  Green

2 - 3 1/4" squares

2 - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles

Fabric E:  Yellow

2 - 3 1/4" squares

2 - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles

Make Half Square Triangles:

Pair 3 1/4" squares, right sides

together in the following combinations:

4 - A/C       2 - A/E       2 - A/D

Sew 1/4" away from each side of

drawn line, cut on drawn line, press

to the dark.  Square to 2 1/2".

Make Corner 4 Patch Units:

Layout units as shown.  Sew

together in 2 rows.  Press row 1

to the left and row 2 to the right.

Sew rows together.  Make 4.

Square to 4 1/2".

Make Outer Center Units:

Layout units as shown. Sew units

in row 1 together.  Then sew rows

together.  Make 2 of each.

Square to 4 1/2".

Assemble Block:

Layout units as shown, paying attention

to proper placement of outer center units.

Sew together in 3 rows.  Press rows 1 and

3 to the outside and row 3 to the inside.

Sew rows together.  Square to 12 1/2".
