In the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul,
just down the street from the Hagia Sophia,
is a delightful little restaurant that I liked so
much I visited it twice during my stay.
It wasn't the menu that attracted me.
It was the lamps, I could see them from
the street and I knew, this had to be the
home of a collector, a kindred spirit.
The place was filled with old mirrors,
old cameras, radios, all kinds of stuff.
And there were great clocks, another one
of my obsessions interests.
On my first visit I had the spicy
Adana kebab.
On my last night in Istanbul I had
to return to have one last taste of
the teeny Turkish ravioli, served over
tomato sauce and topped with a yogurt
sauce and mint ~ delicious!
