Last night three old friends got
together for some pizza. This is
a place I used to go to when I was
a little girl. We would meet our
aunts and uncles and cousins here.
I hadn't been there in decades
but I have been there twice
already this week.
We have been friends forever.
The three of us are all from
the same hometown, though
we have all moved away. It
was nice to come home again.
The pizza has a crust as
thin as a cracker. Not a
typical Jersey pizza.
This is the kind of place I try to
describe to my friends in the Midwest.
These sort of Mom & Pop places don't
really exist out there. I must say it seems
so much smaller than when I was a little
girl, but fun none the less.
