Me Time ~ September 24, 2013

I'm finally back home for a little while and
headed off to Me Time today.  Someone
celebrated a birthday recently so it was a
perfect time for cookies and presents.

There are some new things in the shop
since the last time I was there.  This one
makes my head hurt, the squares are tiny!

This is a quilt made with a large scale block
which is much easier to make than it looks.

Here is a sweet small basket quilt.

This will be a pillow.  I love the stitching
on the rick-rack.

  1. The quilt with the tiny squares is awesome! I think I want to make something like it some day. BTW, I have the exact same glasses as your green ones, except mine are gold. I love those glasses and purchased mine from Ebay (after I had gotten just a few at a garage sale).

  2. The glasses were a birthday gift to the shop owner. I thought they would also be great to hold a tea light candle, they would reflect the light beautifully.

  3. I'm inspired by the basket quilt, especially love the string border or are they log cabins??? Thanks for visiting my blog! It is through people like you that I find my inspiration to sew and blog.

    1. I didn't make that quilt but I will ask the maker the next time I see her and let you know. ~ Ellen
