It's Beginning to Look Alot...

...Like Christmas!

Here at Avalon, our American
Homestead, the elves have been
busy decking the halls.

Okay, well it has just been
me this year since our elves
are off at school.

But I want everything to be
festive and warm when the
kids make it home for the holidays.

This is the tree in our living room, the
tree is in the front window and looks
great from outside.  It looks like it
twinkles through the lace curtains.

This year I pulled a bunch of silver
out of the china cabinet and arranged
it under the tree.  It reflects the lights
so beautifully.

We have to have clementines
during the holiday season.

I love how a simple strand of lights
can make the glass spectacular.

This is the tree in our family room,
the room we spend the most time in.
It is filled with antique ornaments,
homemade items and ornaments
from our travels.

I hope you are enjoying this season
in your homestead ~ wherever
that may be.
