Happy Thanksgiving 2013!

 

It is Thanksgiving Day in the United States!

A day to gather with your loved ones and feast

on turkey and all the trimmings ~ and then there

is pie.

 

 

From our American Homestead, Avalon, to

wherever you may call home, we wish you

good health and happiness and all the best

for you and those you love.

Happy Independence Day America!

 

July 4th is Independence Day in the

United States.  Since it falls during

the school summer break, we have

often celebrated the day elsewhere.

We were in Hong Kong on this day

2 years ago and we decorated our

hotel room with American flags.

This year we are at home in our

American Homestead.

 

Of course that means we will feast

on traditional US picnic foods.
