The Literary Voyeur

There's Nothing Dirty Going On...

I admit it ~ I'm a literary voyeur.
This is nothing kinky, I mean voyeur
from the French, meaning, one who looks.
Yup, in an airport, on trains, on the subway,
I check out what everyone is reading.

I have an insatiable curiousity and I'm a
voracious reader so I'm always looking for
the next great read.  For the past few years,
I have seen everyone reading the Stieg Larsson
Millennium Trilogy ~ The Girl With the Dragon
Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire & The
Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.  I never
read them, I figured if everyone loves them, I
won't.  It just seems so Oprah Book Club ~ ick.

Then I saw the cast for the film of Dragon Tattoo
on Charlie Rose and I was intrigued.  There was Daniel
Craig who I never found interesting because he reminded
me of Vladimir Putin and I found him to be quite sexy and
funny.  Also, there was Christopher Plummer,
ever the elegant scoundrel ~ this could be enjoyable.
So, I had to read the book ~ first.
From page one I was hooked, I had to know who
sent those dried flowers to the old man...

Now, to see the film.
