Elle's Kitchen: Pumpkin Bread

Enjoying Autumn

The leaves are falling, the air is crisp,
I'm wearing sweaters and pumpkin
bread is in the oven.
Yup, it's Fall!

Ingredients:

15 oz. can pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
2 teas. vanilla
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teas. baking soda
1 1/2 teas. salt
1 teas. cinnamon
1 teas. nutmeg
1/2 teas. ground cloves
1/4 teas. ground ginger

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour two 8 1/2" x 4" loaf pans

Combine pumpkin, eggs, oil, water,
vanilla and sugar until well blended.

In another bowl, whisk together flour,
baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg,
cloves and ginger.

Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture
until just blended.  Pour into pans.

Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted
in center comes out clean.

Enjoy!
