Elle's Kitchen: Easy, Chunky Tomato Sauce

A Fast & Tasty Sauce

When I serve raviolis, I like to
use a chunky tomato sauce, this
is a quick & easy homemade version.
I love the fresh taste!

Ingredients:

Olive Oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can Hunt's Fire-Roasted
diced tomatoes (my favorite)

In a frying pan, heat olive oil.
Add onions and saute slowly
until transparent, add garlic
and saute 1 minute, stirring.

While onions cook, pour can of
tomatoes into a blender and puree
for a few seconds until chunky as shown.
You want it to be like a sauce but not
totally smooth.

Add tomatoes to onions and garlic
and heat through.  Serve immediately.

Enjoy!
