Around the World in 30 Days?

The Last Hurrah Tour

In a few months time,
two pair of siblings will
embark on a journey to
circumnavigate the globe.
Both pair of siblings are
 brother & sister...

One pair is aged 18
and under...

The other pair is um - well,
not 18 and under.

I am a great dreamer, I'm
always coming up with a
fabulous scheme to make life
more interesting.
But I am a novice compared
to my brother (see above).
I have a feeling he started
dreaming up this trip the minute
he first found out he was an uncle.

We are calling it,
The Last Hurrah Tour.
Kate will be leaving for college
in August at Purdue and though
Brennan is still in high school, he
already left this year for boarding
school.  We realize they will want to
travel on school breaks with their
friends and this may be the
last chance for all of us to go
together.  Though we hope that
won't be the case of course, that
they will still fit us in for some
future adventures.

We have been burning up
the phone lines and zinging
emails between ourselves and
around the world to come up
with the grand plan.
So here is the itinerary:

New York
Reykjavik, Iceland
Amsterdam, Holland
Cairo, Egypt
Bangkok, Thailand
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Pattaya, Thailand
Hong Kong, China
New York

Please Note:  Anyone who knows our Mum:
We are not telling her about Cairo as she
will worry herself sick.  So, if you talk to her
just skip that part.

Rob, the husband, father, brother-in-law
to the group will be meeting us for a few
weeks in Asia.  Sadly, his work schedule does
not allow for him to make the entire
trip with us.

So stay tuned, more to come about the
plans and I will try to post throughout
the trip as long as I can find internet access.
